March Madness can’t wrap up soon enough for me. So, to help alleviate some of my self-inflicted pain as I attempt to avoid anything to do with the play offs, I invite you to place your bets on a much more important aspect of the game.

Petside.com invites college basketball and pet lovers alike to play in the 2010 NCAA Mascot Tournament.

The 16 pet mascots in this year's tournament were seeded according to their school's basketball prowess and tradition, fan craziness, and of course, mascot cuteness.  Only pet mascots (dogs, cats, and birds) made the cut – hey, their rules.

Who will be crowned champion? You can vote once a day in the first round of  head-to-head mascot match-ups – through March 27 – so spread the word!
