| | Happy ThanksgivingNovember 26, 2009 - John MehnoFootball and a feast, what's not to like? Hope you have a great day. Also hope that before this weekend is over, you'll have a chance to watch two great Thanksgiving-themed movies: "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" and Woody Allen's "Broadway Danny Rose." "Planes" is an established classic, but "Danny Rose" is a nice, understated movie that's worth watching if you're a Woody Allen fan. BTW, it was 42 years ago today when I was sitting in the upper end zone at Pitt Stadium, watching the Steelers lose 41-27 to the Minnesota Vikings on a cold Sunday afternoon. How about these quarterback numbers for the Steelers: Bill Nelsen was 4-for-15 for 44 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. They lifted him and put in Kent Nix, who was 1-for-9 for 11 yards with two interceptions. My classmates and I got in on $1 tickets. Yes, I'm a million years old.
