Batman Arkham Asylum is insanely good

Due to a cold that took me out of commission for a few days I finally got a chance to get a little one on one time with Batman Arkham Asylum. I've been wanting to play this game since I heard about it and especially after playing the demo. And after all this time it was definitely worth the wait.

With not being able to do anything except for lounge on the couch I ended up beating the game in a day and a half. I couldn't put this game down. I would play for hours and then I would stop and about a half hour later I just had to turn the xbox back on and get playing again.

I'm not saying this game was perfect because I don't think a perfect game will ever exist but everything about this game was extremely well done. In my opinion this is the best superhero game ever. And is now on the list of favorite games of all time. One aspect about the game that really made the game was the combat system. It was so incredibly smooth and effective that you really felt like you were batman fighting a room full of enemies instead of feeling like you were simply controlling a character in a game pressing the correct buttons in order not to die. And I think this is a combat system that more game designers need to notice and try and copy.

Well as you can tell I loved this game. The story was great, the fighting was great, it was just a great game overall. So if you haven't played Batman Arkham Asylum yet, I suggest getting a hold of a copy for yourself and get playing.
