February 2, 2009 - John Mehno

*Most cogent post-game line came from Keyshawn Johnson on ESPN, talking about Santonio Holmes' game-winning catch: "That's the play they drafted him to make."

*You have to love Dan Rooney. He's standing there in rumpled clothes, the usual bed hair, glasses that don't quite fit, accepting the Lombardi trophy will all the emotion of a guy who's getting a certificate of gratitude from the Jaycees.

*Three coaches in 40 seasons, and each of them has won a championship.

*Was there ever a ending that qualified more for the ultra-rare "Triple Yoi?"

*The funny thing about this? In another week or so, Kevin Colbert and his staff will go to work trying to fix the flaws on this team (offensive line, depth at receiver, address age issues on the defensive line).

*For tough-guy James Harrison to stay prone on the field, then gulp oxygen, you knew he had to be gassed.

*Bill Cowher's thin line between winning and losing, revisited: If Harrison gets tackled a yard short of the goal line, time expires and the Steelers have seven fewer points in a game they won by four. He landed on Larry Fitzgerald's leg instead of the turf, and got a touchdown.

*Today's the day Buck Frank and his new celebrity buddies say their goodbyes, with promises to get together again. Buck will welcome a return to his quiet life after the week-long party whirl. But some night when you see a bunch of expensive tricked out rides in the Sheetz lot, pumping out throbbing bass lines.....

I am looking for:
