Calling baseball for help
April 22, 2008 - Neil Rudel
Something needs to be done about the people sitting at sporting events -- particularly baseball games and particularly at PNC Park (at least those are the ones I notice) -- and waving frantically at the camera while talking on their cell phones.
It is irritating to the viewer.
A rule should be built in that offenders can receive one warning from an usher before being removed and placed in the upper deck.
Baseball can simply say it's a distraction to the pitcher -- especially Pirate pitchers.
