AAKennel Assoc. Meet the Breeds

February 13, 2008 - Amy Jo Hanna-Eckenrode

I blogged on this on Jan. 23, why so early, I'm not sure because I'm usually late for everything but since the event is taking place this weekend, I thought it appropriate to post another reminder in case you're like me and can't remember what you did an hour ago...)

So, what breed of dog is right for you?

Thinking about adding a new puppy to your family but not sure what breed best suits your lifestyle?

The Altoona Area Kennel Association (AAKA) will hold their “Meet the Breeds” day on Sunday, February 17th from 1 pm – 4 pm at their facility in Carson Valley, Duncansville area.

The event is free and provides the perfect opportunity to bring the entire family out to see what breed(s) best suit your life style. Please leave your fur-babies at home for this event. It is designed for you to interact with and learn about specific breeds.

Over 20 different breeds will be represented and the AAKA will hold ongoing demonstrations about what their organization has to offer.

(Directions: Carson Valley Rd to Longview Dr, make a right & follow signs).
For [more specific] directions or more information visit their website at or call Lisa (814)944-3055 or Nancy (814)224-0295.
