Embrace slogan: ‘Love for all, hatred for none’

The world head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, arrived in the U.S. for a three-week visit earlier this month.

His first stop was the national headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. His holiness will inaugurate mosques in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Manassas, Va.

It’s his fourth visit since being elected as the fifth successor of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad — the promised messiah. During his last visit in 2012, he delivered a keynote address on the topic, “The path to peace: just relations between Nations” on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Since he took the office in 2003, he has been actively working with NGOs, government dignitaries, religious leaders, congressmen, ambassadors, journalists, policy advisors, professors and parliamentarians across the world promoting inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue addressing global peace.

He is the spiritual leader of tens of millions of Ahmadi Muslims worldwide. It’s actively working to combat radicalized version of Islam throughout the world, which in return has resulted in the persecution of the community members in different parts of the world particularly Pakistan, and Indonesia.

In the U.S., the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has launched a campaign, “True Islam” to help Americans distinguish true Islam from extremism. It has been working on a local and international level to promote mutual respect and understanding for people of all religions and nations.

Today, when the evil forces of hatred, intolerance and injustice are on the rise, the slogan of the community, “love for all, hatred for none” — when embraced in entirety — seems to be the right message at the right time.

This the message that His Holiness is here to spread among his followers, as well as to society in general.
