Country needs to put aside hatred
Two recent letters to the editor prompted this response.
How does that much hate accomplish anything?
Really, the vitriol must stop. Calling all members of a political party names like “deplorable” only serves to further divide this country.
Recommending that voters choose all women on a ballot just promotes the kind of bias with which the writer takes issue.
Can either writer suggest, instead, a specific plan for making this country better? How about we see things from a different perspective? These days, people tend to view issues from one extreme position or the other, while the best answer often lies somewhere half way in between.
Most citizens of this great country we live in want the same results, so let’s try to work together to achieve them.
