Best appreciates farm industry
Farm income has fallen sharply since 2013.
Seventy percent of America’s farmers live below the poverty level. Large corporations dictate prices and practices for raising and selling crops and livestock.
President Donald Trump rolled back rules President Barack Obama had put in place, which protected farmers from predatory and retaliatory practices. Trump has sold out family farmers to big corporations.
The American Farm Bureau Federation is made up of six million member families, but only two million are actually farmers. The other four million are insurance companies with investments in the world’s largest farms.
Emily Best has the courage by running in the 30th senatorial, an agriculture-intensive district, talk about these issues and offer ideas and solutions.
With Best’s knowledge in managing farmers’ cooperative, where she sells fruits and vegetables, she’s helping to keep family farmers on their land.
Vote for Emily Best, the real supporter of family farmers.
