Democrats don’t want opposite viewpoints
For about the past 10 years or so, American politics have grown increasingly divisive.
Violent protests, speech censorship and overall close-mindedness plague the modern political landscape. And all we have to blame is the left.
Protesters proudly stop public speakers from voicing their opinions at campuses. Colleges, activists and even politicians advocate for the censoring of hate speech, with them determining what that is, of course.
Worst of all, though, is the fact that the left no longer cares for honest political discussion.
Instead of reaching across the aisle and talking out crucial issues, the left simply writes off anyone who disagrees with them as racist, sexist, fascist, transphobic or any other buzzword.
Many claim these leftists are simply fringe extremists, but wrongly so.
That the Democratic god-queen, Hillary Clinton, herself simply writes off all of Donald Trump’s supporters, regardless of who they are as a person, as deplorable is the best, most blatant example of the left’s intolerance.
Instead of living inside your own little echo chamber where it’s your opinion or no opinion, go have a civil discussion.
That is the only way to change a person’s opinion — and maybe even yours.
