Halvorson, like Lincoln, won’t quit

Like Abraham Lincoln, Art Halvorson doesn’t quit.

Thank goodness.

Honest Abe lost seven political campaigns, but his passion for righteousness was inextinguishable, and eventually he achieved what would have been impossible but for his perseverance.

Halvorson has waged three unsuccessful campaigns against the entrenched and powerful Bill Shuster.

He came within a percentage point of toppling a family dynasty that lorded over south-central Pa. for nearly a half century.

I am looking forward to seeing Halvorson, like Abe Lincoln, complete his mission to go to Washington and restore government of the people, by the people, for the people.
