Nation’s morality continues to slip

I have been watching the news on politicians, and I am anything but encouraged. They are liars, corrupt and unprosecuted.

We had a president who stayed close to Washington for one reason: to cause trouble for the Republicans. It’s like letting the fox control the hen house.

Congress banters around the illegal activities of the Clintons and other politicians, but there is no arrest or prosecution.

The sexual allegations are on a constant rampage throughout the news. If we consider the status of our politicians in relation to moral values, it becomes a laughing matter.

And I don’t care on which side of the aisle one sits. Politicians are so corrupt and unprosecuted anymore they laugh at any allegations thrown at them. They know they won’t be arrested.

The moral value of our country has been flushed down the proverbial toilet. We have murdered, to date, more than 60 million unborn babies, and we call it “our right.”

What makes this country think God will let us slide? We have had the Clinton/Obama parade, then the line of women claiming sexual scandals and now Roy Moore of Alabama is being chased by the media for alleged sexual misconduct with a 13-year-old minor.

Moore calls the allegations “garbage.”

I wonder if we will ever know the truth?

When I was a kid, there were moral standards we lived by, churches full and preaching the Bible, people married and for life, but anymore we think anything sexual, divorce and liars plague the political realm.

Those in leadership who do not do these things are becoming a silent minority. I wish I could say I feel confident we will repent, but I don’t see it.

We are in the latter days, and all this sinning will hasten the outcome.
