Students exhibit positive influence

Thumbs-up to each of the fourth-grade students from Holy Trinity Elementary School who planted native plants in the newly created rain garden at Fourth Street and 25th Avenue in Altoona on Nov. 3, under the direction of the school’s educators, the Blair County Conservation District and Stiffler McGraw Engineering.

The initiative and leadership to involve the students in this project provided such a positive influence for them to learn and value the importance of caring for the natural resources that we are so blessed to have on this planet earth.
