Township officer deserves recognition
On Sunday, Oct. 1, the Allegheny Township Police Department was dispatched to a disturbance within the township.
As events unfolded, a township officer suffered a cardiac arrest, leaving him in critical condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer who suffered the medical emergency.
It is important to recognize Allegheny Township Officer Paul Nagle and the other first responders who assisted in the care of the township officer who experienced the medical emergency.
Without the bravery, fast actions and courage of those involved, the township officer who required attention may not have had the opportunity to be with us today.
Please let this be a reminder of the hard work and dedication our local police officers, public service officials and their families contribute to our communities each and every day.
And please say a prayer for the township officer who is recovering.
