Toomey and Republicans should support Obamacare

I received an automated email from Sen. Pat Toomey’s office in which he says Obamacare is fundamentally wrong in its approach to health care. This assertion is horse manure when considered in the context of our history of health care in which insurance companies pillaged policy holders.

The real fact of the matter is that Obamacare is working well in the context of the obstructionism of Toomey’s party and him. It is the law of the land, and he is sworn to support and obey the laws of the land.

Obamacare is real, it exists, it benefits his constituents and he has no valid reason to act to repeal it, especially when he and his party have nothing worthwhile to offer constituents.

It is high time that Toomey and his party start representing their constituents and not filthy rich people who offer paltry campaign contributions to acquire favoritism and privileges they do not deserve.

Three-quarters (74 percent) of Americans favor Obamacare, therefore Toomey should, too. I have no idea why he and his party want to give hundreds of billions of dollars to people who don’t need it and don’t deserve it. Worse yet, it is my money they are giving away.

When the Bush administration did what Toomey seems giddy to do, the filthy rich benefactors banked the money and did not create jobs as Republicans promised. Another massive giveaway will also not produce jobs or anything else beneficial to his constituents.

Dump Trumpcare and work with Democrats to improve Obamacare; we deserve this from Toomey and his party and not the foolish deceit they provide regarding this issue.
