Shuster governs on behalf of unborn
Talk is cheap, especially when it comes from Congressman Bill Shuster’s opponent, who seems to spend his every waking moment in the mud, slinging personal attacks and making abortion political.
Thankfully Shuster, our conservative voice in Congress, is doing more than talking about pro-life issues.
While I could vilify Art Halvorson, as he does Shuster, I would rather set the record straight. In 2014, Shuster was endorsed by the National Right to Life Committee for his “perfect pro-life voting record.”
Additionally, the NRLC has acknowledged Shuster’s efforts to advance major pro-life legislation such as the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, Unborn Victims of Violence Act, and Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, all of which make it illegal to have an abortion after 20 weeks.
I’m thankful for Shuster’s actions on behalf of the unborn, and I believe others could take a lesson from his leadership.
