Americans don’t support Iran deal
People who write letters to the editor are entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.
In a letter in Saturday’s Mirror, Suhail Shafi states a majority of Americans support the Iran nuclear deal.
A current Quinnipiac poll reports 57 percent of Americans against the deal, 28 percent for; Fox News: 58 percent against.
On another note, last week U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz stated, “The administration anticipates an increase in terrorism as a result of the agreement with Iran,” a comment barely covered by the main-stream press.
That’s very concerning when Iran is already the world’s most notorious exporter of world-wide terrorism.
