Kelly helped put a stop to possible water lease

Bruce Kelley has a voting record that simply cannot be compared to any other candidate that is running for mayor. That’s why I’m supporting him for the mayoral election.

Kelley lead the movement to review the former Naval Reserve Center lease with the city. For many years, this facility paid rent to the city for $1 a year. Kelley was able to research the rental value of the property and the city is now collecting rent from that facility for more than $100,000 a year.

The biggest testament to Kelley’s leadership is that he was one who put a stop of the water authority lease. He drafted and introduced the resolution, which allowed city council to negotiate with the Water Authority.

These qualities are what we need in our next mayor.

Please join me in voting for Bruce Kelley on May 19.
