Throughout his time on City Council, Bruce Kelley has always been a leader for the citizens of Altoona.
That’s why I’m supporting him in his bid for mayor. For the first time in quite some time, the mayor is going to be able to work as the chief executive officer of the city and will be able to deal with matters that Altoona needs to face.
Kelley’s workings with intergovernmental relations, as well as his experience on city council and other organizations, qualify him to be our mayor.
Additionally, Kelley is the second vice president of the Pennsylvania Municipal League, and in two years, he will serve as the president of that organization, which will be the first time since 1958 that someone from Altoona has chaired that organization.
I encourage everyone to join me in voting for Bruce Kelley on May 19.
