Slippery day brings opportunity to interact
I was at the Walmart store in East Freedom Sunday morning, Feb. 16, to do some shopping.
The road was slippery, and a young girl in a bright red coat very graciously offered me her arm to help me cross the parking lot safely.
After finishing my shopping, I was ready to put my groceries in my car. Two older men who were standing near by talking came over to me and asked to help. I accepted the help.
Down around the corner, there were two boys and a girl having a great time with a shopping cart.
All in all, it was a necessary shopping trip and a good experience on a very wintery day. There are a lot of nice people of all ages around.
