Fear may be factor

Some are questioning on why Vladislav Miftakhov’s roommates didn’t speak up when they found out about the bombs in the first place.

I feel as though not everyone is understanding that maybe they were scared, for the fear that Miftakhov could possibly hurt them for telling the authorities.

Of course, many males won’t tell authorities the truth in fear of losing their “masculinity.”

Being a student from Penn State Altoona, no one would have even expected something like this to occur.

If I were in the roommates’ position, I would most likely be scared and not know what to do as well. Yes, they should have told someone, but maybe Miftakhov threatened to hurt them.

It is a question that may go unanswered for a long time.
