CVS?takes lead in fight to stop smoking
About two weeks ago, the Mirror reported that smoking not only causes emphysema and cancer of the lungs, but added cancer of the liver, colon and rectum plus diabetes mellitus Type 2, rheumatoid arthritis, impotence, vascular degeneration and cleft palate.
Two days ago, CVS Pharmacy announced that it will stop selling all tobacco products as of October 2014.
I hope this news prompts other pharmacies and Sheetz to follow suit and place the health of their customers ahead of profits, like CVS did.
