State should regulate, not sell alcohol
There are pros and cons to the questions surrounding the Pennsylvania liquor dilemma. Profits, selections, employment and oversight all have conversational value, but it still comes down to only one issue: It is not the government’s responsibility to buy, sell and/or trade alcohol.
Enforcing laws pertaining to age requirements, licensing and intoxication crimes I understand, but not the commerce of a product. Privatizing the wine and spirits outlets might not be the perfect solution in all areas, but it does make perfect sense in all areas of what is the right course to take.
