Thankful for miracle

Miracles sometimes do happen when we least expect them.

My daughter’s friend and I were going to visit my daughter. She lost control of the car and hit the guard rail.

We crossed the laned highway (thank goodness no cars or tractor-trailers were coming), went down the bank and nose-dived into a ditch and spun around a number of times.

All I remember saying is there was mud everywhere. I don’t remember anything, but the guard rail and God were with me that day.

We ended up with the car facing the highway.

The reason I am writing this is because every year at prom and graduation time, many young people get killed. Don’t drink and drive or speed or act crazy.

You think that it can’t happen to you, but it can and does happen in a split second.

You have 12 or 13 years of school behind you, and you want to go on to a job, marriage, family. If you act crazy behind the wheel of a car, or get into a car with someone who acts crazy and thinks it is fun, you could end up dead and leave behind a lot of grieving people.

I thank God every night because I could have been one of those statistics. Another important fact:?Please wear your seatbelt. It’s important.

Good luck to all of you.
