Kindness appreciated

On Wednesday, May 8, at 8:30 a.m., I was dropping off my little Shih Tzu, Daisy, to get groomed at Happy Tails in Hollidaysburg.

She gets very nervous and knows where we are when I pull into the lot. When I opened the car door to get out, she instantly jumped out and ran out towards the road.

The traffic was very heavy at the time. I could not catch her and was very frightened that she was going to get hit by a car. But, thankfully, considerate people stopped their vehicles, causing other drivers to stop and help the situation.

A school bus driver opened the bus doors trying to get her attention and then a gentleman in the passenger seat of another vehicle got out of his car. That resulted in Daisy turning around and running towards me so that I could catch her.
