Future looking bleak
Our state and country are at a turning point that will change our entire future, and if the correct decisions and policies are not made soon, the future looks very bleak.
Although our president has no desire to cure our debt problem, and it seems most politicians don’t care, either, we must do something now.
People need to realize that the free wagon is about to lose a couple of wheels. By that I mean that if you’re a career welfare recipient, you need to understand that welfare was meant to be a safety net for people, not a lifetime career. This also goes for those that have been receiving more than two years’ worth of unemployment benefits, and for those receiving SSI benefits when you’re really able to go out and work for a living.
This includes government employees with paid pensions and health care. People need to understand all of this comes because people like me work every day and pay taxes so others can collect everything they need without leaving home.
I, for one, am tired of it. I think I will quit my job tomorrow and join all those on the free wagon. On second thought, I have a little more self respect than that.
