As I examine the candidates in this year’s contest for Blair County judge, I do not need to look further than Wade Kagarise.
The reason for this is that, unlike most voters, I have had the opportunity to see his experience in the courtroom first hand. In 2010, I served as a juror in a Blair County drug case.
Kagarise was extremely comfortable in the courtroom and clearly and effectively presented his case for the citizens of the Commonwealth. The defendant was found guilty and sent to prison.
I was so impressed with Kagarise’s actions that I subsequently sought him out to handle a custody case when a family member needed one.
Kagarise handled the custody case with the same ease that he handled the criminal case. He took the time to explain the law to us and worked hard to get the job done.
