William Terry Supina

William Terry Supina, 76, Altoona, died Sunday at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Osceola Mills, son of the late John and Alma (Black) Supina Updike. On Jan. 14, 1966, he married Cindy Fleck, who died Oct. 6, 2009.
Surviving are two children: Billijo Supina and Michele (Michael) Snyder; grandchildren: Curtis Ramsey, Megan and Derek Mezze, Jordan Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey, Brice and Colby Shoop Mertiff, Heather Mertiff, Kayla Green, Brandon Snyder and Emily Snyder; three great-grandchildren: Joseph Deyarmin, Josey Deyarmin and Mason Ramsey; and eight siblings: Robert Supina and wife, Marie, Susan Gonzalez and husband, Speed, Marilyn Carper and husband, Mac, Vickie Bridges (Ron Grassmyer), Patricia Bush, Linda Phillips and husband, Don, Ed Updike and wife, Nancy, and Sam Updike.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather; infant son, Willie John; a daughter, Terri Lee; two brothers: John and James; and two sisters: Marylou and Kathryn.
William graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School in 1960 and served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had worked in landscaping and delivering, and spent many years at Proctor-Silex. He also delivered papers for seven years and was a lifetime member of the Hookies Fire Company.
William enjoyed sports, baseball and the Steelers, John Wayne and old Western movies, George Jones and country music.
Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, the Rev. Carl A. Schmidt Sr. officiating.
