Doris A. Ollinger

Doris A. Ollinger, 89, currently of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday at Messiah Lifeways Nursing Home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Richard H. and Mildred I. (Campbell) Spiers. On Nov. 18, 1950, she married Herbert P. Ollinger at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Herbert preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2004.
Surviving are a daughter, Vickie A. Fields (Charles R. Fields DDS) of Mechanicsburg; two granddaughters: Carissa (Eric) Stouter of Shiremanstown and Caylene (Josh) Miller of Arlington, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard M. Spiers.
Doris was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Ollinger Brick and Tile as a clerical administrative assistant in 2004.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, granddaughters and family pets.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, followed by a funeral service that will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Stevens Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Douglas McGaffin officiating. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
