Robert L. ‘Bob’ Speck

Robert L. “Bob” Speck, 76, Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday at his residence after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was the son of the late Robert J. and Dolly P. (Reed) Speck.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Nancy; a daughter, Kim; a granddaughter, Nicole (Matt) Meiser; a great-granddaughter, Gracie Meiser; two brothers: Gary and Dennis Speck; and a granddog, Bailey.
Bob retired as a supervisor for Amtrak, Washington D.C. Additionally, he had been employed at New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. Inc. and Conrail. In his spare time, he was an independent welder.
He was a former member of the Horseshoe Curve Chapter of the Railway Historical Society.
Bob enjoyed his family, watching football and fishing.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
