Paul J. Gorman

He was born in Martinsburg, son of Roland and Rose (Eger) Gorman. In 1975, he married Jeannie Weyer at Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Shelby Gorman of Mount Union; a granddaughter: Rayshawna Hardy (Bradley Beatty); a great-granddaughter, Chassi Beatty; his parents; five brothers: Wes (Jackie), Mark (Connie), Allen (Karen), Johnny Melinda and Guy (Valerie) Gorman; and three sisters: Irene (Greg) Kies, Helen (Bob) Miller and Robin (Brian) Felix.

Paul was a graduate of Central High School. In 1972, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and served proudly through his contract. Paul was employed by DelGrosso Foods where he worked for over 40 years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed riding his Farmall tractor as well as going to Penns Cave. Paul enjoyed spending time with family, especially his great-granddaughter, Chassi, the Jimmy brothers and his brother-in-law, Ralph.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at Arch Spring Cemetery, Sinking Valley.
