Richard C. ‘Chris’ Heil

Richard C. “Chris” Heil, 75, Hollidaysburg, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday afternoon at his residence.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Eugene and Marjorie (Molden) Heil.
Surviving are his wife, Peggyann Carnill; a son, Christian Heil; a daughter, Tiffani Doerr; three grandchildren: Jacob Doerr, Samantha Doerr and Timberlynn Heil; a brother, James Heil; a nephew, Travis Heil; and three nieces: Emily, Tayrn and Brynly Heil.
Chris was a graduate of Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood, N.J., as well as Muskingum University and Lincoln University. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.
He was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church and the Alto Model Train Museum, and he was on the church advisory board of the American Rescue Workers.
Chris was an avid golfer, an artist and a writer.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service at this time. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
