Rodney W. ‘Rod’ Evans

Rodney W. “Rod” Evans, 68, Hermitage, formerly of East Freedom, died Wednesday. He was born in Roaring Spring, the only boy of four children to the late Betty (Shaw) and Walter Evans. Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Rooney) Evans; two sons: Gregory and Geoffrey; five grandchildren; and three sisters: Yvonne Flaugh, Sherry Bechtel and Melanie Blazvich. Rod was a 1967 graduate of Central High School. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crema­tory Inc., Hermitage.
