Wesley C. Noye

Wesley C. Noye, 82, Antis Township, died early Tuesday morning at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Nellie (Colyer) Noye. On Sept. 29, 1956, he married Barbara A. Dutrow in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife; two sons: Wesley C. of Antis Township and Mark L. (Kathy) of Tyrone; two daughters: Barbara A. (Chris) Doyle and Brenda L. Decker, both of Antis Township; 10 grandchildren: Herbie and Joey Van Scoyoc, Dustin and Kendra Noye, Robert Decker III, Alex Decker, Wesley Noye III, Amber Noye and Zack and Luke Doyle; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Bonnie Blake in Texas, Doris Noye of Altoona and Thelma Poorman in California.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary M. Van Scoyoc, in 1993.
Wesley retired as a pressman for Butterick Co. Inc., Altoona, after 35 years of service.
He was affiliated with Greenwood United Methodist Church, and he was a member of Riggles Gap Sportsman’s Club, PA Flintlock Association and a life-member of Logan Valley Broncs.
Wesley enjoyed hunting, building muzzleloaders and shooting on the state muzzleloaders rifle team. He loved his dogs. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no viewing or visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Greenwood Cemetery, Pastor Duane Coy officiating. Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
The family suggests that contributions in Wesley’s memory be made to American Cancer Society, Blair Unit, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
