Wanda Joan Rhiver

Wanda Joan Rhiver, 81, Altoona, died Sunday morning at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Ona (Rehrer) Rhiver.
Surviving are a very special sister, Dawn LaRay Mangus of Altoona; two nieces: Renee Milliron and husband, Michael, and Lisa Logan and husband, Richard, all of Altoona; a great-niece: Jennifer Traficante and husband, Brandon, of Altoona; a great-nephew, Steven Milliron of Altoona; and a special cousin, Gwen Wright in Florida.
Joan was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School and retired from the Blair County Office of Recorder & Deeds. Prior to that, she had previously worked for Altoona Pipe & Steel and Investors Diversified.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Over the years, she volunteered at Blair Senior Services and the Railroaders Museum. She was a member of the National Association of Railway Business Women and an associate of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Joan was a collector of dollhouse miniatures and an avid dog lover. She especially loved her dog, Buttons.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Altoona.
