Nancy J. Hinkledire

Nancy J. Hinkledire, 80, Claysburg, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Warren and Hattie (Dick) Medasia. On Oct. 17, 1975, she married Milton Hinkledire.

Surviving are her husband of Claysburg; two daughters: Brenda J. (Joe) Helsel of East Freedom and Amy L. (Kip) Rishel of Claysburg; three stepchildren: Johnny (Colleen) Hinkledire of Dun­cansville, Bobby (Karen) Hinkledire of Altoona and Sandy Hinkledire of Bedford; six grandchildren: April (Sean) LaMarche, Andrea (Barry) Weyandt, Jeremy (Beth) Helsel, Joey Helsel, Timothy (Olivia) Helsel and Kylie Redinger; four step-grandchildren: Keysha, Bobbi Jo, Zach and Alex; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne (Sue) Medasia of New Enterprise.

Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was a member of the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, Claysburg.

She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed baking, cooking for her family and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. to­day, Sept. 12, 2018, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Clays­burg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs­day, Sept. 13, 2018, at Upper Claar Church of the Breth­ren, Claysburg, Pastor David Maxwell officiating. Inter­ment will be at Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren Ladies Ministry.
