Mary B. (Feigh) Putorek

March 15, 1939 - Sept. 10, 2018

Mary B. (Feigh) Putorek, 79, Duncansville, died Mon­day at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Blain City, Coalport RD, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Montler) Feigh. On Dec. 18, 1976, she married Ronald L. Putorek in Mem­phis, Tenn.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Ronald L.; a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” (Michael) Wolford of Holli­daysburg; two nieces: Christina Wolford and Melissa (James) Boston; a nephew, Thomas (Teresa) Wolford; and two stepsons: John (Dianna) Putorek of Princeton, W.Va., and Ronald (Belinda) Putorek of Athens, W.Va.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Feigh; and her stepmother, Gladys (Wills) Feigh.

Mary worked in the business office at Mercy Hos­pital, Altoona, and as a daycare aide in Delmont. She also worked several office jobs while her husband, Ron, served at different Navy assignments.

She was a member of the Altoona Moose, Three German Clubs, Duncansville VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. She was also a former member of St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and going to summer festivals.

At the request of the de­ceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, the Rev. Zab Amar celebrant. Committal will be in St. Basil Cemetery, Coal­port. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Mary’s memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.
