Loretta F. Imler

Loretta F. Imler, 95, a resident of Elmcroft at Duncansville, formerly of Claysburg, passed away Tuesday at the home.
She was born in Pavia, daughter of the late E. Waugaman and Ethel (Wentz) Ickes. On March 1, 1944, she married Grover P. Imler in Claysburg, and he passed away June 8, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Vaughn R. Imler and wife, Carolyn; five granddaughters: Bobbi J. Adragna (Frank), Kim Imler (Hakeem), Lori A Dutrow, Erin L. Imler (Jack) and Vicki R. Davis (Bernard); seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Marlin K. Ickes and Maynard W. Ickes; and a sister, Mona J. Grove.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis L. Ickes.
Loretta was a 1941 graduate of Bedford High School and the Altoona School of Commerce. She retired as a timekeeper from GREFCO on Oct. 1, 1987. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Claysburg.
She enjoyed going to Potter County, camping and trout fishing.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, Pastor James Neatrour officiating. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Grace United Church of Christ, Claysburg.
