Janet M. Snyder

She was born in New York City, N.Y., daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Shoemaker) Reynolds. On June 29, 1968, she married Thomas E. Snyder in Ebensburg. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2002.

Surviving are two sons: Scott Snyder and wife, Michele, and David Snyder; two sisters: Diane McGuire (George) and Barbara Reynolds (Gino); a brother, Timothy Reynolds; as well as her faithful Jack Russell terrier, Amy.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary; and a brother, Gary.

Janet was a 1962 graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She retired from Conemaugh Valley High School as a teacher’s aide after many years of service. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
