Bonnie J. Williams, 72, Waterford, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Hamot, Erie.

She was born in Williams­port, daughter of the late Elmer and Virginia (Miller) Rittenhouse. On Dec. 12, 1964, she married Peter D. Williams.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Heather A. (Gerald) Harrington of Waterford; two grandchildren: Josephine and Rachel; and a brother, Norman E. Rittenhouse in California.

Bonnie was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Hamburger University in Oakbrook, Ill. She retired from the Hollidaysburg Senior High School, where she worked as a secretary for 20 years.

She belonged to Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Red Cross Blood Serv­ices and Disaster Services, Friends of the Hollidaysburg Library and Girls Night Out Altoona Inc.

Bonnie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Holy Trinity Episco­pal Church, Hollidaysburg, the Rev. Jeanne Jacobson officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
