Bonnie J. Williams, 72, Waterford, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Hamot, Erie.
She was born in Williamsport, daughter of the late Elmer and Virginia (Miller) Rittenhouse. On Dec. 12, 1964, she married Peter D. Williams.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Heather A. (Gerald) Harrington of Waterford; two grandchildren: Josephine and Rachel; and a brother, Norman E. Rittenhouse in California.
Bonnie was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Hamburger University in Oakbrook, Ill. She retired from the Hollidaysburg Senior High School, where she worked as a secretary for 20 years.
She belonged to Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Red Cross Blood Services and Disaster Services, Friends of the Hollidaysburg Library and Girls Night Out Altoona Inc.
Bonnie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hollidaysburg, the Rev. Jeanne Jacobson officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
