Shirley R. Focht, 91, Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday morning at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Carl and Mae (Banks) Miller. She was the wife of the late Eugene Focht, who preceded her in death on March 8, 2018.

Surviving are a son, Walter (Patty) Focht of Cresson; a daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Mudge of Duncansville; a grandson, Joshua (Cindy) Focht of Roaring Spring; a granddaughter, Michelle (Gregg) Dyess of Maryland; and five great-grandchildren: Dylan, Peyton, Weston, Treyton and Keaton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Doug; three sisters: Kay, Vonnie and Veve; and two brothers: Carl and Walter.

Shirley attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being active in church and Sunday school and her quiet reading time.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Puzzletown Road Bible Church, Duncansville, Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
