Scott G. Stultz

Scott G. Stultz, 80, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Joliet, Ill., son of the late Henry and Anne (Green) Stultz. In 1958, he married June C. Ritchey.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage; two daughters: Lisa Bodenski of Duncansville and Jennifer Halpin in Kentucky; four grandchildren: Sean, Pashia, Ashley and Amanda; and a sister, Susan Badner in Delaware.
Scott was a 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a 1959 graduate of Penn State University, where he served as a 2nd lieutenant in ROTC and was an essential member of the PSU golf team. He served in the U.S. Army, and he was the proprietor of Stultz Insurance Agency until his retirement.
He was a member of Scotch Valley Country Club and attended First Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg.
Known locally as a “golf legend,” Scott won countless tournaments and set numerous records. For more than 20 years, he shared his passion of the game through mentoring junior players on the North East Junior Golf Tour, which he owned and operated. Additionally, he contributed countless hours to the Hollidaysburg Area Golf Team.
At the family’s request, all services are private. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Per Scott’s wishes, gifts of sympathy may be given as a donation to the Hollidaysburg Golf Team.
