Mardell Steinbauer, 85, Palmyra, passed away Wednesday, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late William E. and Mildred (Longenecker) Coady.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Steinbauer, with whom she would have celebrated 66 years of marriage this August; five children: Shelby Lenker and husband, Tom, of Fairfield, Sherry Rice and husband, James, of Annville, Robert J. Steinbauer in Montana, Tammi Steinbauer of Lebanon and Brandi Rininger and husband, Bill, of Altoona; 10 grandchildren: Angel, Shannon, Michael, Shawna, Robert, Shaye, Jarrid, Elise, Taylor and Kody; eight great-grandchildren: Hailey, Addison, Peyton, Morgan, Keith, Chloe, Brayden and Espyn and one great-grandson on the way; and two siblings: Lee Coady of Palmyra and Betty Langer of Whitaker, Calif.
She was preceded in death by five siblings: Gene Coady, Merle Coady, Punk Coady, Irene Coleman and Marlene Kleiner.
Mardell was a homemaker, and she was also a crossing guard in Palmyra for five years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A procession will form at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
