Agnes G. “Aggie” Dixon, 88, Tipton died Wednesday at her residence.

She was born in Tipton, daughter of Kasmir and Mary (Starziski) Pacanowski. On Oct. 30, 1948, she married Allen W. Dixon at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 2004.

Surviving are two sons: Allen “Butch” and wife, Janet, of Tipton and John and wife, Karen, of Tipton; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Dixon of Tipton; four grandchildren: Fred, Frank, Garrett and Luke Dixon; three great-grandchildren: Eve, Seth and Hunter; and three sisters: Margaret Mathias of Johnstown, Betty Shock of Altoona and Mary Ann Sigel of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and three brothers: Edward, Ernest and Fred.

Aggie was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Tyrone, and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita.

She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed having pancake Wednesday’s with them. She was fond of flower gardening, her dog, Abigail, and living on the farm.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at Feller Mem­­orial Home, Tyrone. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Tyrone, Father Jozef Kovacik celebrant. Interment will be held afterward at Oak Grove Cemetery.
