Allen A. Mock


Allen A. Mock, 59, Manheim, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 in Lancaster.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Herbert H. and Martha L. (Miller) Mock.

Surviving are his children: Brandon Mock, and wife, Alisha, of Dallastown and Lindsay MacMullen and husband, Douglas, of Wrightsville; a granddaughter, Adalynn; his former wife and mother of his children, Pamela Miller; two brothers: Barry and wife, Robin, of Leonardtown, Md., and Raymond and wife, Carol, of Jacobus; a sister, Louise Mock of Altoona; five nieces and nephews: Brian, Justin, Daniel, Amanda and Kayla; and his beloved companion, Linda Huyard of Leola.

Allen had worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Lancaster and Harrisburg for more than 25 years.

He loved model railroading, and as a native of Altoona, the Horseshoe Curve was one of his favorite places to visit. He also enjoyed going to the beach, was a serious Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and was a talented bowler, bowling two perfect games. He also enjoyed playing mini golf and was a serious Texas Hold ’em player, winning several tournaments.
