Margaret Pearl Taylor

Margaret Pearl Taylor, 68, Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday evening at The Lutheran Home at Hollidays-burg.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of William and Marie (Noel) Cooper. On June 11, 1972, she married Richard D. Taylor in Altoona, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2003.

Surviving are a brother, Richard (Kathy) of Oster-burg; three sisters: Cecelia Keckler and Barbara Cooper, both of Duncansville, and Linda (Frank) Lang of Altoona; four nephews: Frankie Lang of Altoona, Kevin Cooper of Bedford, and Kurtis Cooper and Ricky Cooper, both of Osterburg; and a niece, Alisha (Will) Lum of Elkridge, Md.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Marjorie Taylor.

Margaret was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a sewing machine operator for Tritex.

She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed crafts, Bingo and hunting with her husband, Rick.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.

The family requests that donations in memory of Margaret be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
