Barbara ‘Bobbi-Jo’ Price

Barbara “Bobbi-Jo” Price, 60, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her residence.
She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., daughter of Stanley Hock and Dorothy (Damberg) Dodd. On March 16, 1996, she married Gary S. Price.
Surviving are her husband; four children: Lori A. (Cox) Shields, Lacey C. Price, Steven M. Cox and Quentin J. Price; 11 grandchildren; her parents; two sisters: Danielle Saylor and Tracey Rupert; and two brothers: Stanley Hock and Travis Dodd.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven.
Bobbi-Jo worked in the therapeutic activities department of Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries.
She was a past officer for Church of God General Conference of Women’s Ministry. She was also a member of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Altoona Sewing Club, Roscoe American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Horseshoe Curve National Railway Historical Society, and she was a life-member of Railroaders Memorial Museum. In addition, she was a member of Fourth Street Church of God and Seventh Day Adventist Church, both in Altoona.
Bobbi-Jo was an artist, and she enjoyed camping and scrapbooking.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, Pastor Robert Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
