Paul Alan Durbin

Paul Alan Durbin, 58, Altoona, formerly of Cresson and Denver, Colo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at his residence.
He was born in Colver, son of Elizabeth Graham and the late William Durbin.
Surviving are a son, William Paul Durbin and girlfriend, Kayla Wilson, of Mercersburg; Kayla’s two children: Angel and Isaiah; his mother; three sisters: Brenda Caporuscio and husband, Dave, of Duncansville, Sharon Glass and husband, Don, of Elizabethtown and Angie Crocetti and husband, Mike, of Cresson; a brother, William Durbin Jr. of Cresson; several special nieces and nephews; and his friend and former wife, Sheryl A. Durbin.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Durbin.
Paul was a 1978 graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He received an associate’s degree in automotive mechanics from Arapahoe Community College. He worked as a mailer for Rocky Mountain News, Denver, Colo., and he was previously employed as the head custodian at Geesey-town Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was a member of Cresson Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid collector of many things, and he enjoyed repairing and fixing electronics and listening to guitar music.
Friends will be received from 6 until the 8 p.m. memorial service on Saturday,
Dec. 9, 2017, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
