Thomas A. Campbell, 55, Altoona, died Sunday at Fulton County Medical Center after a tragic motorcycle accident.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert M. and Maryann (Steele) Campbell. On May 12, 1984, he married Shelda Risbon at Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church, Altoona.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Brittany and husband, Trey Horton, of Altoona; a son, Tommy Campbell of Altoona; a grandson, Tallen Horton of Altoona; a brother, Brian Campbell of Altoona; a sister, Linda Campbell of Harrisburg; his stepmother, Leona T. Campbell of Altoona; and two stepsisters: Janet Dillen and Patty Baldessaro, both of Altoona.

Thomas was a graduate of Altoona Area High School, and he studied drafting at Altoona Area Vo-Tech School. For nearly 16 years, he worked as a delivery driver for Lowe’s.

He attended Fourth Street Church of God, Altoona. His hobbies included four-wheeling, motorcycles, classical music and movies. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he especially loved playing with his grandson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 24, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at

11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, the Rev. Jon Neely officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
