Eleanor M. ‘Nelnie’ Watters

She was born in Tunnelhill, daughter of the late John and Caroline (Pierzchala) Watters.

Surviving are a sister, Geraldine Racz of Upland; two brothers: Tom (Patty) of Duncansville, and Jack (Martha) of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Watkins; and three nephews: John Thomas Watkins, Frank “Bud” and Joe Racz.

Eleanor was employed at various garment factories in Gallitzin. She loved and enjoyed visits from her family and friends, as well as spending time with her friends and caretakers at the Center.

At Eleanor’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Committal will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin.
